Healing Through Art Program
About the Program
The Domestic Truth Foundation proudly presents the community art program, Healing Through Art. Designed to offer a safe and supportive environment for victims of domestic violence, this program allows participants to engage in art activities with the aim of building self-esteem, fostering creativity, and offering therapeutic benefits.
Art therapy is known to improve mental health by reducing stress and anxiety, increasing self-esteem, and promoting emotional resilience. It is also a powerful form of expression for people who have experienced trauma, helping them to process emotions and experiences in a non-verbal way.
Our Mission
Through this program, we aim to provide participants with a sense of accomplishment and pride through creative activities. We believe that art offers a fun and engaging way for individuals to express themselves. The program serves as a sanctuary where participants can feel secure, valued, and part of a supportive community.
